Hey! I’m Capt. Mustapha 👋
I’ve spent nearly two decades in the LNG shipping industry, commanding some of the largest LNG carriers in the world over the past two years.
Throughout my career, I’ve served on all major types of LNG ships from Moss-type to membrane vessels (GTT Mark III and NO96) powered by both steam and DFDE propulsion systems.
I’ve successfully handled LNG ship-to-ship transfer operations, both for cargo transfer and LNG bunkering, and have taken ships to and from drydocks, delivered newbuildings from shipyards, and managed numerous complex LNG operations.
Beyond command, I’m passionate about sharing LNG and maritime knowledge with the wider community. My expertise has led me to speak at major LNG conferences and events around the world, connecting industry professionals and enthusiasts alike.
I’m also the creator behind a growing online community of over 44,000 maritime professionals on LinkedIn and 20,000 subscribers on YouTube.
